Scrolling, doncha just hate it?
Things I really
dislike on web pages, include but are not limited to, scrolling. And scrolling. More scrolling. And if you're really unlucky, you'll accidentally hit an ad, and get to wait forever for it to load before you can X out. But even without ads, you're still waiting to find the end of the page. Reminds me of that old tyme web site that gave you one page... GeoCities, ha, I had to look it up. Damn, my grandkids would never even have heard of it, they weren't born yet.
So yeah, scrolling. I hate it. And my page was doing it. *cue screaming in the night*
Now, as you can tell, I'm not the greatest coder in the world. I'm not going to win any prizes, unless it's the one for 'blowing up a system that is indestructible', which I have won in the past. But we're not going to talk about that.
Right. Scrolling. I hate it, and my site was doing it. So I've moved things around a bit. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but at least it's not....geocities.
Another thing I don't like about the new 'cool' websites are the navigation bars (or adverts) that follow you. You *cough* scroll down, and within a couple of seconds, its right there, in your face and under your cursor. Click me, click me!
I can hear it's tinny electric voice saying. I feel like I'm getting stalked.
Maybe Feath said something interesting in another post?
